Previous Think Inc. events have brought leading science minds such as Jane Goodall, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Richard Dawkins in tour to Australia, speaking in a town hall or auditorium setting in a series of innovative, entertaining and educational evenings. some of which Science Illustrated has been pleased to support.
Now during the lockdown Think Inc is introducing ‘Outside the Box’, investing in innovative and interactive live event technologies that will bring the experience of a “live” event into people’s homes. But these go beyond a ‘webinar’ format, rather aiming to bring the experience of being in a theatre, with a front-row view, the ability to engage with the star of the show in real-time, the opportunity to partake in a live Q&A, an audience-wide group chat for rational discussion and debate, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded people through one-on-one networking or to meet & greet the star in a personal online group setting.
“During these trying times of social distancing and isolation, I realise just how important it is to stay engaged and stimulated,” says Owner and Director of Think Inc., Suzi Jamil. “That’s why I’m so excited to still be giving people the chance to engage in intellectual discussions, and engage with their favourite intellectuals– we’re just doing it in a new, and even more interactive way.”
