Small cats gone wild

Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus)

Picture 6 of 9

Native to the Iberian Peninsula in Southern Europe, the Iberian lynx is the most endangered of the cat species, with an estimated 100 left in the wild. Its leopard-like spots and noticably shorter coat make it distinctive to other lynx species. Image: Programa de Conservación Ex-situ del Lince Ibérico
