Nature has often been a source of inspiration in film and literature, but more recently, engineers have gotten into the natural trend, designing robots inspired by wildlife. Inspired by an elephant's trunk, the Bionic Handling Assistant is a new concept of their soft robotics that will feature at the NEXT conference 2012 in Berlin, Germany.
