A radiographer’s view of animals

This radiograph shows the soft tissue and meandering skeletal system of a Moray eel. An incredible feature that can be seen in this x-ray is the second set of jaws in the predator's throat, which are called gill arches as they support the creatures gills. Image: Sandra J.
