Image: Johan Swanepoel\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Elephants remember the exact location of their water supplies.<!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.etoshanationalpark.co.za\/\">Etosha National Park<\/a> is a wildlife sanctuary in Northern Namibia where zebras, lions and other animals roam freely. Etosha, the &#8220;\u02dcplace of dry water,&#8217; is also home to some 200 elephants.\u00a0Etosha elephants are regarded as the tallest in Africa. They eat some 230 kilograms of fodder per day and weigh up to 6,000 kilograms.<\/p>\n<p>Due to hunting and poaching, African elephants are an endangered species.
