The tiger delivered twins however only one survived, another female who staff named Daseep. The cub was born weighing just under a kilogram.<\/p>\n<p>Sumatran tigers are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iucnredlist.org\/apps\/redlist\/details\/15966\/0\" target=\"_blank\">critically endangered<\/a>, with estimates suggesting there may be as few as 500 left in the wild.
