The Biennale of Sydney is Australia’s largest contemporary visual arts event, showcasing bold and innovative contemporary art from around the world. The free exhibition is presented over 12 weeks in the heart of Sydney at leading contemporary art spaces and on world heritage-listed Cockatoo Island. Alongside the exhibition, the Biennale presents artist talks, guided tours, performances, forums, family days and other special events.

When: June 27-September 16, 2012

Where: The Art Gallery of New South Wales, Museum of Contemporary Art and continues along Pier 2/3 where the Biennale Free Ferry takes you to world heritage-listed Cockatoo Island
